Introducing 2021 Dacia Bigster SUV Concept https://youtu.be/bYKTLr5_mXk
The Dacia Bigster concept has been revealed, previewing an upcoming, C-segment mid-size SUV due to launch before the middle of the decade.
Unveiled as part of parent company Groupe Renault's 'Renaulution' business plan announcement this week, the Bigster Concept measures 4.6 metres long, slotting it into the larger end of the mid-size SUV segment, just 30mm shorter than the long-wheelbase, new-generation Hyundai Tucson.
The Bigster opts for a more rugged take on the mid-size SUV segment compared to sleeker rivals from Hyundai and Ford, adopting a boxy, upright look with straight-edged body lines and swollen wheel arches reminiscent of Dacia's only production SUV to date, the Duster.
Due to launch in early 2025, the production version of the Dacia Bigster Concept will be the brand's first C-segment mid-size vehicle, serving as the range-topper above the existing Sandero, Logan, Spring Electric and two additional B-segment models due in 2022 and 2024.
