Post Traumatic Stress is a huge problem for returning veterans -- with over 22 vets committing suicide a day! The Power Breath Meditation is a healing tool. Utilizing specific rhythms of the breath helps restore resilience in combat veterans, breathing life back into them and their relationships. Recent research on this technique at the University of Wisconsin, showed a tremendous decrease in symptoms of post-traumatic stress following a 7-day workshop. The results were sustained at one year, indicating the improvement and transformation in the physiology is permanent. We all experience different magnitudes of stress in our own day-to-day lives. John will share his journey on what inspired him to do this work and the transformations it has brought in his life and of the veterans he has worked with. He will also guide us through breathing exercises and short meditation that we can take home to effectively manage our own stress.
