Lamborghini has officially unveiled the Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse at the Frankfurt Motor Show.
Designed to bring the "fascination of motor racing to the street-legal world," the Squadra Corse is based on the Gallardo Super Trofeo and features a number of race car inspired components including a prominent rear wing, a quick-release engine cover and carbon ceramic brakes. The supercar also has a variety of carbon fiber and aluminum components which enable the model to weigh 1340 kg (2954 lbs) which is 70 kg (154 lbs) less than the Gallardo LP 560-4.
