Today Leica has announced the new M11 Monochrom. Based on the current M11, this is the 4th monochrome camera in the M series and their absolute best to date.

The M11 Monochrom features a BSI Sensor with 3 native resolutions at 60, 36 and 18 megapixels in both raw and jpeg output. The camera comes in all black and features 256GB of internal storage.

Also announced today is the new version of the 50mm f/1.4 Summilux-M which will have a smaller form factor, redesigned lens hood and close focusing up to 45cm with the rear screen or electronic viewfinder.
