Do better ergonomics, improved internals, and cleaner software translate really into a better phone? That’s the question we had when going hands-on with the LG G Flex 2 and original G Flex side-by-side, two of a very select group of curvaceous smartphones. We’ve pitted the two together in an impromptu comparison at CES in Las Vegas for a LG G Flex 2 vs LG G Flex video, embedded down below for your viewing pleasure.
We found that the first-gen G Flex was a great phone with an even better vision, but also that it had many shortcomings that hindered it when compared to its flattened companions. It was big, it was bulky, and its display technology just wasn’t good enough to accommodate the curved screen. And now LG’s fixed all of that, and we’re here to show you just how the two phones are different and whether or not that means you should go buy the newer model.
We’ll have even more in a proper comparison later in the year, as well as in our full review of the G Flex 2, so stay tuned for that and the rest of our CES coverage.
