Mahindra Alturas G4 (and not XUV700 as many claimed/guessed) will become M&M's flagship model in India, details of which have been revealed today. Codenamed Y400, the Alturas will be launched on November 24 to take on the likes of Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour. Powering the vehicle will be a 2.2-litre diesel engine that, mated to a 7-speed automatic gearbox, will churn out 180bhp and 450Nm.
