Marvel Studios just unleashed a featurette full of exciting details on what Marvel fans can expect in the future from Phase 4 of the MCU. Starting with some official Marvel movie title reveals, we now know what both the upcoming Black Panther 2 and Captain Marvel 2 movies will be named: Black Panther: Wakanda Forever and The Marvels! According to Marvel.com, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever will, "continue to explore the incomparable world of Wakanda and all of the rich and varied characters introduced in the first film." What we do know about the upcoming Black Panther sequel, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, is that the late Chadwick Boseman's T'Challa will not be recast or recreated with CGI, and Ryan Coogler will be returning to direct the star studded cast with Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong'o, Winston Duke and Angela Bassett all returning to reprise their roles in the film.
The Marvels film will see Brie Larson's Captain Marvel teaming up with Wandavision's Monica Rambeau, portrayed by actress Teyonah Parris, and Ms. Marvel! Actor Iman Vellani will be appearing as Ms. Marvel in the upcoming Disney Plus series of the same name, which fans can expect to see later this year. Marvel MCU news, we also got our first footage of the Eternals. Trailer featured the ensemble cast consisting of Richard Madden, Angelina Jolie, Gemma Chan, Kumail Nanjiani, Salma Hayek, Don Lee and more. This is the closest we've gotten to an Eternals Marvel trailer 2021.
As for Marvel MCU Phase 4 movie releases, the MCU Phase 4 trailer revealed we got Black Widow on July 9th, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings on September 3rd, Eternals November 5th, and Spider-Man: No Way Home websliging December 17th. 2022 will hit us with Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness on March 25th, Thor: Love and Thunder - May 6th, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever - July 8th, The Marvels - November 11th, with 2023 bringing us Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania - February 17th, and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 on May 5th.
