Mercedes is going electric, as is pretty much every automaker. With the EQS, Mercedes is trying to retain the luxury of the S-Class line, but pair it with EV performance and all the tech you could want. They want to create something that can be a more refined alternative to the Porsche Taycan, Tesla Model S, and Audi E-Tron GT, and Mercedes largely succeeds. The result is a flashy and confident vehicle packed with features, if packaged in a kind of blobby frame.
