Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is a sequel to Monster Hunter Stories which was released on Nintendo 3DS in Japan in 2016, followed by North America and Europe in 2017. Play as a Monster Rider, collecting monsties as you explore the world, fighting monsters alongside your monstie in turn-based battles, and giving monsties new abilities by performing the Rite of Channeling. As the grandchild of the legendary Rider known as Red, it is up to you to discover why Rathalos all around the world are vanishing. Hatch monsties by finding eggs in monster dens and bringing them back to the stables, where your felyne companion Navirou will test the weight and smell of eggs that you discover.
