The Moto Z Play series has always been one of those series of smartphones that were typically underrated, partly because of how it was overshadowed by the superior spec'd Moto Z flagship line. With this year's offering, the Moto Z3 Play continues the push forward with what we've seen from Lenovo when it comes to adopting trends we've been seeing for the last year now. Slapped with a sticker price of $499 when it goes on sale this summer in the US, it's more imperative now than ever before to really deliver substantial value in a smartphone in this price range because the OnePlus 6 has set the bar in terms of expectations for smartphones priced around the $500 range.
