Are you a maker or hobbyist? This DIY electronics kit gives you the instructions and supplies to build a Rubik's cube solver!Support this project here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/kitables/diy-rubisolver-kit-build-a-rubiks-cube-solving-macKitables makes all inclusive kits for do it yourself projectsWe are 5 makers that want to make do it yourself projects accessible for everyone. We choose fun projects in fields like science and engineering, optimize every part of the project (e.g. rewriting the software), and deliver a kit with everything you need right to your door. The RubisolverThe Rubisolver is every nerd's dream machine: give it a scrambled Rubik's cube, tell the software program (which will be available for download on our Github page) what colors are on each side, and come back later to see a solved cube. This kit is a fun mix of construction and electronics. It includes detailed instructions, high quality code (which will only get better over time as we receive community input), and the physical supplies (e.g. servos, tiny computers, and laser cut pieces) needed to build a Rubisolver. The Rubisolver was custom-designed by our electrical engineer. The pieces are laser cut here in Colorado either out of birch wood or acrylic (depending on which kit you purchase). The Rubisolver has an Arduino Uno footprint and 2 standard servo mounting points. Although it was made to fit the Arduino Uno like a glove, it will fit most smaller Arduinos, Arduino compatible dev-boards, and larger Arduinos can be attached with zip ties.We Need Your HelpWe’re a small talented team with an idea to make DIY projects more fun and accessible to everyone. For those of us that don’t have CNC routers, laser cutters, or lab supplies just lying around the house, a little helping hand goes a long way. We put our kits up on Kickstarter because it takes fairly large sums of money in order to buy materials in large enough quantities to make the kits affordable. We love getting feedback and suggestions on what our next kit should be, so please visit our site or shoot us a message on Kickstarter.Video used with permission.
