The new Mercedes CLA with EQ Technology might just be the new yardstick. It comes with a colossal range figure of up to 490 miles, which doesn't just put it ahead of direct competition, but ahead of almost all new EVs regardless of class or price.

If that wasn’t enough, the CLA also introduces a brand new look for the brand, with eccentric new lighting up front and a brand new interior that’s even more digitised than before.
