New to Netflix for April 2022

Netflix in April is showering us with lots of new movies (The Bubble, Metal Lords, Choose or Die), new TV shows (Hard Cell, Russian Doll: Season 2), and new anime (Tiger & Bunny 2, Ultraman: Season 2, Bubble), so that we MAY enjoy them from the comforts of our home.

Fan-favorite TV shows have awakened from their long hibernations and we're treated to many new episodes of the buddy superhero anime Tiger & Bunny, the iconic anime series Ultraman, and the mind-bending Russian Doll, which features Annie Murphy from Schitt's Creek as a new character.

There are also a bunch of new movies coming to Netflix. The ensemble comedy The Bubble from Judd Apatow follows actors on the set of a film being made during the heigh of the pandemic. Metal Lords, written by Game of Thrones' D.B. Weiss is a coming-of-age spiritual successor to School of Rock. Choose or Die is a twisted Black Mirror/Squid Game mashup that leads a young coder down a bloody game.
