Next Summer, The Guy From 'New Girl' Is Going To Be Eaten By A Dinosaur

Jake Johnson is going to have a big year. On the Fox TV series New Girl, he plays the slightly aimless bartender Nick Miller holed up in an industrial L.A. loft with three other guys and Zooey Deschanel, who plays Jess. This fall, Johnson and New Girl co-star Damon Wayans Jr. show up in the action-comedy Let's Be Cops, and next year he's slated to appear as tech-savvy operations guy Lowery in Jurassic World, a Jurassic Park follow-up starring Chris Pratt and reuniting Johnson with Safety Not Guaranteed's writer Derek Connolly and director Colin Trevorrow. (Is Johnson gonna go rogue like Wayne "Newman!" Knight did in the original JP? We'll have to wait and find out.)
