It was released back in 2010. And in my opinion - it is still up there with the VERY BEST optics Nikon are making. So I am incredibly excited to hear a new Z mount version may be coming.

Keep the perfect optics, reduce the weight by 1/3rd, and keep in under $8,000... this will be a true HALO product for the Z system. And something that sets Z apart from Canon and Sony.
