NOW This is the Best Mini RC Crawler Ever! - RocHobby Katana DC Reduction Gear Motor MOD

Roc hobby Katana is an Awesome Mini Scale RC Crawler, but there is an issue that the rc car motor is little bit underpowered and it makes ''crawling'' really hard. So, i decided to replace its motor with a DC 6V Reduction Gear Motor. Yes it is slower now but incredibly powerful with its high torque which actually RC Crawlers need, instead of speed.

Hello everyone thank you for tuning in
if you watched the
review video of this rochobby katana
you already know the motor of this car
is really fast
but really underpowered it has no torque
so i decided to change its motor with
the reduction gear one
to make it a real rc crawler because
with the stock motor
it has an awesome looking
but it doesn't have crawling
capabilities
as i have showed you at the last video let's
see
that part by moving slowly
i'm trying to slowly
i am still getting throttle yes see
it stopped the motor
couldn't keep
providing that torque and i need to give
more truth and when i give more throttle
it looks like that this is what i don't
like
on this small scale cars so as you see
with the stock motor this car is really
fast but
it cannot even crawl on my hand but now
look at this by the way i also add
lights
on the top you you get the light bulbs
but you don't have the red lights
in the light buckets
the lights are on and
see how this car
crawls now
see it's just keeping its torque
and now this is the best
minuscule rc chromos in the market
it's already have a great body with
a great detailed body
the only con was the motor now
also bluetooth is perfect
i used a 3000 rpm
6 volt dc brush motor
and of course it is way slower
than the stock motor look at this this
is the top speed
but when i use the cut
like this i don't need to be i just need
pork and this is actually what a real
crawler
need so
let's create a small crawling area here
and see how this car
performs with its brand new reduction motor
