With a fresh update to Android 5.0 Lollipop, NVIDIA’s SHIELD Tablet is probably the best pure Android tablet on the market. You can certainly make a case for the Nexus 9, which is a terrific showcase for Google’s beautiful new mobile OS. But the SHIELD, which is a full $100 cheaper, is arguably better because of the perks NVIDIA offers. There may not be a grotesque skin caked on top, but you do get things like NVIDIA’s awesome GRID service, which the company describes as Netflix for streaming games.
