Walking the line between supercar and hypercar, the Pagani Huayra is one of the fastest, most prestigious and most beautiful means of transportation money can buy today.
If we were to lean one way or another, we'd say the Huayra is a hypercar. While it may not produce as much horsepower as say a Veyron or even a LaFerrari or a P1, you can make a case for it being a lot closer to these three in terms of performance, than it is to an Aventador or Ferrari F12.
This car right here belongs to Brett David, owner of Prestige Imports & Lamborghini Miami, and is called the 'Project Vulcan' because since "Huayra" is an Andean wind god, it would go well together with the Roman god of fire, "Vulcan". The carbon fiber and contrasting red elements represent a sort of dance between the two.
Just so we're clear about what an amazing machine this is, note that it's powered by a 6.0-liter Mercedes-AMG V12 twin-turbo engine, good for 730 HP and 1,000 Nm (737 lb-ft) of torque. The car also weighs just 1,350 kg (2,976 lbs), which is less than a McLaren 675LT - basically more power, less weight and a great deal more torque than one of the world's fastest supercars.
