Panasonic GH5s verses Sony A7 III

Panasonic GH5s verses Sony A7 III. I have been itching to see how these 2 cameras do against each other and have been waiting to make this video for a long time. With a GH5s in the house, this was my opportunity! The Sony A7 III is my own camera, and the Panasonic GH5s is a camera that Panasonic sent to me to test in the Christmas Room so I could see how it does in my own environment!
There are rumors from the rumor site that Panasonic may make a firmware update this summer for the GH5s GH5 and maybe even the G9. That would be really good news to my ears. This video is not to point out again that Sony's focus system is better, but to flesh out the quality levels and how these cameras would appeal to folks on the hunt to buy them!

Used the 2017 i7 4.2Ghz iMac with Final Cut Pro X to edit and output to ProRes. Then to H.264 for YouTube.
