Duffy always loved big, loud, fast machines. Growing up in Arizona, he worked in hot rod shops, hung out at car shows and drove a thunderous Chevy. After working in the snowboard industry and then going back to design school, Duffy founded Seattle design studio, Electric Coffin, and established himself as a leading artist in the Pacific Northwest.
Though his canvases have changed over the years, his love of cars remains. In an upcoming show, he combines technology and hand craftmanship to create collage-style hot rod murals. Powered by his Surface tablet and Microsoft software, he’s bridging the gap between fine art and fast cars.
