The Pioneer SC-LX58 is their latest mid-range audio-video receiver with nine-channels of amplification and surround sound, which replaces last year’s SC-LX57. The LX58 sits at the higher end of Pioneer’s receiver range, just below the LX78 and LX88. There are a number of new features for this year but probably the biggest news is the addition of Dolby Atmos. In addition, Pioneer are the only manufacturers currently using Class D digital amplification in their receivers and the LX58 delivers 190W per a channel.
