Squeezing the 4.0-litre naturally-aspirated flat-six and seven-speed PDK gearbox from the 911 GT3 in a smaller and more lightweight package was always going to make the Porsche 718 Cayman GT4 RS a firecracker. But having got behind the wheel, Steve Sutcliffe reckons it ranks as one of the all-time greats. It's louder, lower and wider than other Caymans, and it produces more downforce and records a Nürburgring laptime 23.6 seconds faster than the 'standard' Cayman GT4.
