It’s another insane drag race from carwow, and this time the mighty Audi RS7 Performance goes head-to-head with the track-focused Ferrari 458 Speciale!
On paper, this should be close… but it’s VERY interesting ????

The RS7 packs a 4.0L twin-turbo V8 pushing over 620hp and a massive 800Nm of torque. Add Quattro all-wheel drive and launch control, and this luxury missile can rocket off the line with brutal consistency. It’s heavy, yes — but it hooks up instantly and just goes! ????
Then there’s the 458 Speciale. A naturally aspirated 4.5L V8 screaming to 9,000rpm, around 605hp, rear-wheel drive, and significantly lighter. It’s raw, dramatic, and built for the track. No turbos, just pure throttle response and spine-tingling sound. ????????

So what happens over the quarter mile? Does the Audi’s traction and torque dominate from the start? Or does the Ferrari’s lightweight chassis and high-revving power claw it back at the top end?
