Samsung S20 Ultra - the $1400 potato cam?

The Samsung S20 Ultra might be the biggest gimmick smartphone that we've seen yet. Samsung had major expectations with the cameras on this phone. They promise 108 Megapixels, 8k video and a 100x Space Zoom feature. These might be the silliest and most useless features I've seen on any phone to date. So is it really that bad?

Samsung are competing in an incredibly tight space with smartphones. With the Apple iPhone 11, Google Pixel 4, even the year old Huawei P30 Pro and other offerings from Xiaomi, Sony, Oppo and others - things get pretty competitive. Have we just maxed out the features we can expect on a flagship smartphone?
