A few folks over at Harvard have successfully created the first brain-to-brain interface to allow humans to control animals (or a rat in this case) with thoughts alone. By thinking the right thought, the interface allows the human to control a rats tail. The technology works by using an ultrasound signal to excite a specific area of the brain, in this case an area associated with motor movement.
