The Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer is already smashing records by racking up the most global views ever in 24-hours. The Spiderman No Way Home official trailer was viewed over 355.5 million times within a day, completely smashing the reigning MCU champion, the Avengers: Endgame trailer. Spider-Man No Way Home is seemingly using a similar formula with a rumored star-studded cast reprising their roles from previous Marvel movies. With Phase 4 playing within the vast playground of the multiverse, Tom Holland's Spider-Man will most assuredly come face-to-mask with Doc Ock and the Green Goblin, both villains from the Sam Raimi Spider-Man series.
While we didn't get to see him in the Spider-Man No Way Home trailer, Jamie Foxx's Electro is also confirmed to be making a shocking appearance in the No Way Home movie, meaning we'll also be playing within the Andrew Garfield Amazing Spider-Man movie universe. And based solely on the No Way Home trailer so not confirmed, fans are pretty sure they see glimpses of Sandman and the Lizard. As for the other two Spider-Mans, neither Spiderman Tobey Maguire or Spiderman Andrew Garfield have been confirmed, but with subtle hints and outright reveals of certain Spiderman villains from the previous film iterations in the Now Way Home teaser trailer, it's a safe bet to say that we'll likely see Andrew Garfield and Tobey Macguire pop a web ball at some point in the Spider-Man No Way Home movie.
#SpiderManNoWayHome releases December 17th. In other news, we got some spicey anime releases happening later this year! My Hero Academia's third movie, World Heroes' Mission is coming to North America at the end of October with Netflix's Baki returning in September. And finally, Marvel is reportedly working on a Halloween special for Disney Plus, possibly taking inspiration from Werewolf by Night.
