St. Patrick's College offers a diverse population of students from disadvantaged backgrounds life transformation opportunities through industry-standard vocational coursework and cutting-edge technology devices and skills. In 2013, the college provided second-year students with Surface RT tablets running Windows 8.1 RT and Office 2013 to help prepare them with the technology skills they will need for career success.

A Tablet Today, A Job Tomorrow -- Because Office is such a highly valued skillset with employers, students who use Office 365 will have the most up-to-date versions of the productivity tools they need to excel in the classroom and the workforce. Principal Kahn is a strong believer that technology will transform the entire learning process in the future and says "The Surface will be amazing for that—giving our students a distinct advantage in the workplace and in the competition for jobs."
