Microsoft's Surface RT is perhaps one of tech's biggest flops. Not that it was as bad as everyone made it out to be. But it failed to sell—the company took an almost $1 billion loss because of leftover inventory. That's not really the way Microsoft would have liked to enter the market, particularly when the company was aligning its tablet to go head on with Apple's iPad. But despite the company's hugely disappointing first attempt, Microsoft is ready for round two.
