The lastest game in the Lord of the Rings franchise, Tales of the Shire, is almost here. This "cozy" game puts you in the feet of Third Age hobbits just before the events of The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Rings. Your goal in Tales of the Shire is similar to that of other cozy games of its nature, and that's to start a new life in a town that could use a lot of work to make it home. Ahead of its late 2024 release, we got a chance to play the opening minutes of the Tales of the Shire. Here are the first 16 minutes of gameplay.
