The Art of Film :: Jordan Drake with DPReview

I have something different for you today - a collaboration with my good friend Jordan Drake who you probably know from DPReview. We upped our Zoom/Facetime game a little hopefully and did a cross border collaboration to talk about Photo Assignments and available light.

Last year Jordan worked as Director of Photography on a short film called A Walk Down To Water which I had the privilege of seeing - its amazing. Working in film has many challenges in making shots look great - many times using available light… or at least creating the illusion of available light.

So I thought it would be fun to get Jordan come and talk about his experience in lighting shots and have some fun in a conversation for you guys.
