Halloween is a darker holiday than it seems in Eli Roth's The House with a Clock in Its Walls. In the new movie starring Jack Black and Cate Blanchett, a young orphan named Lewis Barnavelt aids his magical uncle in locating a clock with the power to bring about the end of the world.

The House with a Clock in Its Walls hits theaters in Australia on September 20 and in the US and UK on September 21.
