The Umbrella Academy Season 3 debuts on Netflix on June 22, 2022. Review by Alex Stedman.
The Umbrella Academy Season 3 may take a few episodes to find its footing, but give it time and it eventually ends up doing what it does best: building on the character development of the Hargreeves siblings and their relationships with one another. There's not a weak performance in the bunch, but Tom Hopper gets a little more to work with as Luther, Elliot Page, and Emmy Raver-Lampman stand out, especially in Viktor and Allison's complicated relationships. It may initially seem less inventive and action-packed than previous seasons, but what it loses in wackiness, it gains in heart and the clarity of its message - one that resonates whether your family is screwing up the timeline or not.
