Innovation doesn't have to be flashy, and this is certainly apparent in the case of Denny, the bike that recently won the Oregon Manifest bike design competition. If you take a quick glance at the bike, nothing really seems too out of place. Upon further inspection however we see just how much its creators have improved on typical road bike functionality. Take the handlebar for example -- it may look a little funny, but that’s because the entire thing is detachable, and it doubles as a U-lock, meaning one less thing to lug around (or forget).
