Todd McFarlane has been making Spawn action figures almost as long as he’s been making Spawn comics. The legendary comic creator joins us at IGN Fanfest to talk about how McFarlane Toys is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a handful of remastered re-releases of Spawn’s best action figure appearances, as well as some new releases like a brand new figure based on the cover of Spawn issue 311, which pays homage to the late Chadwick Boseman. Meanwhile, will Blumhouse’s upcoming Spawn movie reboot be a victim of superhero fatigue? Todd doesn’t think so, and he explains how R-Rated comic book movies like Deadpool & Wolverine and Joker: Folie A Deux will help pave the way for Al Simmons return to the big screen, and how he and Jason Blum are already thinking ahead for sequels. Meanwhile, action figures based on Prime Video’s upcoming Fallout series are in the works, and we get our first look at a member of the Brotherhood of Steel’s in iconic power armor, with more collectibles on the way later this year.
