Donald Trump is among the most-discussed people around as of late. Though he’s recently experienced quite a surge in attention, there’s much about him that remains less talked about.

Here are 10 fascinating tidbits about the man.

Number 10. He’s An Award-Winning Actor. In 1989, Trump was the big Razzle Award winner in the category ‘Worst Supporting Actor.’ The film was ‘Ghosts Can’t Do It,” and the character he played was himself. 

Number 9. Trump is also a 2-time Emmy nominee. Yes, as in the Primetime Emmys. He received nods for his work on The Apprentice in both 2004 and 2005. 

Number 8. In college, he had a unique pass time. He read federal foreclosure notices for entertainment purposes. 

Number 7. The Donald once wagered his own hair in a bet. The year was 2007 and the bet was made with Vince McMahon, chairman of the WWE. Each of them picked a wrestler to fight on their behalf, and the one linked to the loser had to shave off his locks. Trump emerged with his signature style in tact.

Number 6. He doesn’t drink vodka, and apparently can’t sell it either. The presidential candidate has always been open about his abstinence from alcohol, but he doesn’t talk quite as much about the eponymous vodka he launched in 2006. It was as complete a failure as failures can be. 

Number 5. Trump was once Mike Tyson’s financial advisor. The late 1980s arrangement was rather controversial, as Trump had been serving as the boxer’s promoter. There were concerns about conflicts of interest for both parties involved. 

 Number 4. He typically uses a knife and fork to eat pizza. In fact, in 2011 he and Sarah Palin were photographed stabbing and sawing their ways through a couple slices at a New York eatery. 

Number 3. One of his go-to hair products is actually called ‘Helmet Head.’ He and the maker, Farouk of Farouk Systems, have even been photographed together.

Number 2. Trump was voted ‘Ladies Man’ in high school. Notably, he went to an all-male institution. One of his former classmates revealed the title wasn’t based on Trump actually drawing loads of women towards him, but that he seemed like he probably could. 

Number 1. In college he wore a burgundy suit and patent boots on a date with Candace Bergen. The actress has admitted that other than Trump’s ensemble, she doesn’t remember much about their brief outing.
