Apple's World Wide Developer Conference is one of the company's biggest events of the year. The company is definitely famous for its hardware, but you'll remember the late Steve Jobs claiming that Apple saw itself as a software company primarily, and this is the show floor for us to see what Cupertino plans in that department for the next twelve months.
So far we've heard a ton of rumors surrounding iOS 9 and the future of OS X, and some of these point to similar offerings to what Android gives users with Google Now. We've also heard other rumors regarding Apple's plan to revamp its music offerings with the acquisition of Beats. We've also heard Apple working on a cable TV competitor that should give the Apple TV some new light. Apple is also in desperate need to give the Apple Watch a boost in speed, and that's the case for most of its software offerings as well.
