Motor1 video director Clint Simone gets behind the wheel of the highly anticipated Volkswagen ID. Buzz for the first time.

Our first official drive of the electric VW van comes so early that it's still wrapped in camouflage. Even with all the rainbow distraction, we can see some of the design cues up-close, including a huge greenhouse and a signature VW logo that's huge.

This Euro-spec version has a shorter wheelbase that the version we will get in the US, and a single-motor setup with a 77 kWH net batter pack. Power figures are 204 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque. The rest of the information including charge times and range estimates will come at a later date after the Buzz makes its official debut on March 9th.
