The first new Volvo FH was sold through an eBay charity auction, where all the proceeds are donated to the non-profit organisation Star for Life in South Africa. The winner of the auction was Jean-Pierre Ducournau, owner of Ducournau Transport in southern France.He bid the extraordinary sum of 150 000 euros to make sure the truck was his.
