Volvo Trucks is continuously working to improve the quality and efficiency of their aftersales services. One method currently being tested is the use of smartphones in the workshop. Technicians can easily carry the mobile units during their working day and they make it easy for them to always be updated with the latest information. Tests carried out in the spring of 2011 have yielded positive results.
