What's the best small car or small hatch? In this comparison you'll find the
VW Polo, the Hyundai i20, the Toyota Yaris, the Skoda Fabia and the Honda Jazz or Honda Fit, naming depends on the market. They all have a certain focus, let's find out more. Well, which small car to go for? The VW Polo still offers a very good package, drives very well and sporty and is a lot of fun. However, the Hyundai i20 meanwhile even shows a better build quality and can absolutely catch up with the ride. The times where the Polo dominates the segment, are over. Meanwhile I would say the Hyundai i20 is even the better pick. The Skoda Fabia is a Polo sibling and offers a little bit more space and some interesting clever solutions. Talking about that, the Honda Jazz maybe has the worst design on the exterior, but the best usable design on the interior. A lot of space, magic seats in the rear and the return of hard buttons for the climate control. Just the driving is the most boring and least sporty one. Still, if practicability in the interior is the most important thing for you, the Honda Jazz or Honda Fit is way to go. The Toyota Yaris is much more grown up in the new generation and the Hybrid drive system is the most efficient one in the test. You can score some 4 or 5 l on 100 km which is segment best. The new seats are also very suitable fo tall people. All small segment vehicles we have shown today are indeed very good and you cannot do something entirely wrong with picking one of them, that's good. But if we combine design, user interface, build quality and driving fun and driving quality, the winner for today is the Hyundai i20. What do you think about my choice and what would be your pick?
