Jon R is back to discuss various topics in and out of the tech world. On this week's episode, Jon riffs on waterproof smartphones. Samsung announced the highly anticipated Galaxy S5 last week and one disappointing feature was that it will be a waterproof device. The waterproof coating that is applied to screens on waterproof devices has the tendency to desaturate and blur the display. Also, most waterproof devices have flaps that cover open ports which make it difficult to charge the device. As someone who doesn't need a waterproof device, Jon would much rather have a phone with a better display and exposed ports. All this and more in this episode of Rettinger's Riffs!
