Hasselblad had several announcements in the last week, including the X1D II medium format camera. There was also the new XCD 35-75mm zoom lens - but by far the announcment that I am the most excited about is a new XCD mount, modular system. This includes rhw CFV II 50C back and the 907x body. So what does this mean? Well this is a compact, medium format modular system. The back contains a 50 megapixel digital sensor and an articulating screen that will mount to the 907x body if you want to use XCD lenses. It will ALSO mount to any film body produced since 1957. This greatly extends the options you have as a photographer for medium format.

Hasselblad CFV II 50C Digital Back:
• 50 Megapixel CMOS sensor (43.8x32.9 mm)
• fits most V system cameras amde from 1957 to today
• also will work with 3rd party technical and view cameras
• tilt screen and full touch support
• integrated battery - same on the X1D and X1D II
• charging and tethering via USB-C port

Hasselblad 907x Body
• compatible with the CFV II digital back
• XCD mount - compatable with all lenses designed for the mirrorless X1D system
• mirrorless so extremely compact
• compatible with H system, V system and XPan lenses with adapter
• will mount 3rd party adapters as well
