Today on IGN The Fix: Games, Max explores a few of May’s Xbox free games with gold. We also take a look at why they might be a bit of a letdown as of late, especially when compared with the incredible value that is Game Pass. Sure, Microsoft might be giving away games like Dungeons 3, LEGO Batman, and Tropico 4 next month, but how does an offering like that stack up against the vast library of Game Pass? Nintendo is surprising fans with an update to Super Mario Party that will allow players to host and find games online, great for Switch players that are staying home these days! And finally, Monster Hunter Rise is getting a free update that adds new monsters to the game, and even Apex versions of monsters such as Diablos and Rathalos.
