It Lives Inside, an upcoming horror distributed by NEON, follows Sam as she navigates the tensions between her cultural roots and her life as a high school student in the US. When her estranged childhood friend asks for help with a sinister entity living within a jar, Sam is soon forced to face down an ancient evil in order to protect her. The film stars Megan Suri who also appears in Netflix's hit comedy Never Have I Ever.

Joining IGN at SDCC is Bishal Dutta, the writer, and director of It Lives Inside. Our host Kim Horcher talks with Dutta about tackling adolescence through horror, Suri's performance, and his own personal connection to the film. It Lives Inside hits theaters on September 22nd.
