Here are 10 particularly dim-witted criminals.

Some crooks are masterminds, able to execute heists with precision and without leaving a trace. Others just don’t seem to have what it takes.
Here are 10 particularly dim-witted criminals.
Number 10. Mayfair Porsche Thief. Well, almost thief. The individual was caught on camera breaking into one of the sports car’s convertible models, but apparently couldn’t get the vehicle moving. He exited the car the same way he entered – through the hole he had cut into the fabric roof.
Number 9. ‘Winnie The Pooh’ Joyrider. It took police in Belarus over 2 months to catch the man who hopped on a supermarket ride and steered the cartoon bear right out the door. The suspect admitted he had done it, but noted he was drunk at the time and had no idea where he left the toy.
Number 8. Disguise Gaffe In South Wales. While this person did think ahead enough to hide his face from the hotel surveillance system, his bag-over-the-head plan wasn’t foolproof. According to officials, the alleged burglar had been pretty stealthy as he moved around the hallways. However, at one point and for reasons unknown he pulled off his disguise and looked straight into a camera.
Number 7. Electricity Bandit. Everybody needs to charge a phone from time to time, but this person is accused of sneaking into a home to do so. Authorities say the invader slid beneath a guestroom bed and plugged his 4 devices in. He was said to have been there for 3 days before the homeowner noticed and called police.
Number 6. Not So Good-Humored Heist. Hard to tell from the surveillance video, but a suspect who made off with an entire Good Humor freezer appears to have thought about actually buying a treat first. After noticing the store attendant was asleep, footage shows the man gestured obscenely the camera and proceeded to drag the cart away.
Number 5. A Disarmed Robber. This attempt to rob a CVS took a turn when the perpetrator reached for the bag of money placed on the counter. As he went for for the cash, the employee grabbed the man’s BB gun. A fight ensued, and though the suspect got away with the loot, he never was able to reclaim the weapon.
Number 4. Easily Deterred Thief. A guy is said to have walked into a Philadelphia PetSmart, strolled up to the counter, and, gun in hand, demanded all the money in the register. The clerk said she couldn’t open the cash drawer and the suspect quickly responded, “just kidding.” Then he swiftly left.
Number 3. Convenience Mart Shoplifter. This woman entered and exited the BP station in a wheelchair, but when it came time to pick items off the shelves, she got up and walked around. She was arrested soon after, but the man she was with remained at large.
Number 2. Foiled Quick Escape. Based on camera footage, a man seems to have entered an elevator occupied by an older woman, cornering her in the small space and holding her at knifepoint. However, in the time it took him to get her handbag, the doors had closed and he had to ride with the lady until the car’s next stop.
Number 1. ATM Theft Gone Awry. Making any mistake in a robbery that involves crashing through a glass door and hauling away an incredibly heavy machine doesn’t bode well for success. This man made the same one twice, each time failing to properly hook up the chain connecting the automatic teller to vehicle intended to drag it away. He gave up.
