X-Men '97 Season 3 has found a head writer, and yes before you say "Wait, where was Season 2?", work on the second season had already started when former show runner Beau DeMayo was removed from the project. Head writer Matthew Chauncey will take a stab at crafting Season 3, and he already has Marvel credits with What If...? and Ms. Marvel. In other news, DreamWorks has announced Shrek 5 after star Eddie Murphy let slip he was already recording lines for the movie. The fifth shrek will premiere in 2026, a stacked year for fifths with a fifth Toy Story and a fifth Avengers movie also slated to drop.
