In today’s Daily Fix:
Xbox recently announced a showcase of upcoming games, along with a new look at Starfield. The Xbox Games Showcase will stream on Sunday, June 11 at 10am PT, with the Starfield Direct happening immediately after. Hopefully Microsoft can course-correct after the Xbox-exclusive Redfall landed with a thud. For Game Pass subscribers, more games are coming to the service this month, including the latest Amnesia game, the Shadowrun Trilogy, and more. It’s a good selection for May. In Nintendo news, the Switch port of Marvel’s Midnight Suns has been officially canceled, although the PS4 and Xbox One versions are still on track for release later this month. In real-world news, some journalists reporting on the war in Ukraine have turned to CS: GO to help deliver news to Russians. And finally, chill out to some excellent Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild music with this live performance.
