ZF employees create low-code solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and Microsoft Teams

ZF is a technology company that’s on the road to digitization to create e-mobility solutions in the auto and commercial vehicle sector. Headquartered in Friedrichshafen, Germany, ZF has a global workforce of 160,000 people. To support its digital solution strategies, ZF needed to improve productivity across its nine divisions and 260 locations in 41 countries. ZF standardized on Microsoft 365 modern workplace tools, including Microsoft Teams and Power Platform. Employees took advantage of Microsoft Dataverse for Teams and low-code development tools in Power Platform to publish new apps that automate processes and analyze data within Teams. Citizen developers use Teams and Power Platform to solve business problems rapidly and without the involvement of IT, saving time and money. Already employees at the company’s Gray Court facility in North Carolina have created solutions that improve cross-department teamwork, simplify HR onboarding by hundreds of hours, and automate month-end for the finance team.
