Looking more refined than its predecessor, the car has an evolutionary design which borrows cues from the Genesis and Equus. The camouflage hides of a lot of details but we can see the model will have a prominent grille, slender headlights and a contoured hood. The roofline also appears higher but nothing is official as of yet.
Under the hood, the entry-level 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine could be replaced by the turbocharged 1.6-liter unit that resides in the Veloster Turbo. The engine produces 201 bhp (150 kW) and 195 lb-ft (264 Nm) of torque which is a slight improvement over the 2.4-liter's 198 bhp (147 kW) and 184 lb-ft (249 Nm) of torque.
