2019 Mazda CX-5 Introducing - Interior, Exterior Experience https://goo.gl/3tpvxK
The 2019 Mazda CX-5 proves that not all compact-crossover SUVs are created equal. In general, they’re usually quite good at many things, but don’t really have an aspect or two that delivers a knockout punch. The CX-5 seats four occupants, five at a pinch. It provides all the usual equipment and advanced safety features that buyers desire. The build quality and reliability are high, in common with its closest and keenest rivals. But get behind the wheel and the CX-5 displays an extra talent that’s virtually nonexistent elsewhere in the class. The driving experience is engaging, not the chore that other contenders seem to be. There’s more: The styling would suit a luxury vehicle, the cabin is similarly upmarket, and fuel economy is remarkable. The CX-5 is a must-try.
No appliance-like nature and anonymous styling here; this compact-crossover SUV has dynamics like its well-respected stablemate, the Mazda3 hatchback. Yet the 2019 CX-5 manages to keep an eye on the fuel gauge.

This new compact-crossover SUV is not overly spacious, and it lacks real off-road ability. For that combination, look to the Subaru Forester. If it’s just space you want, the Honda CR-V should be ideal.
What's New for 2019
The 2019 CX-5 adds a new range-topping trim level: Signature. It features leather, wood, chrome, ambient cabin lighting, and several other premium items. Smartphone integration for iPhones and Androids becomes available. A new engine propels the higher trims -- a turbocharged 2.5-liter unit making 250 horsepower. The torque vectoring by braking and suspension systems has also been refined.
Let’s go deeper into Mazda’s vectoring feature, which is standard in every version. It adds to the CX-5’s already excellent cornering abilities by subtly braking an individual wheel here and there. If anyone thought all mainstream compact-crossover SUVs were boring to drive, they haven’t tried the CX-5. It’s nimble and precise, able to change direction with grace. The naturally aspirated 187-horsepower engine is adequately energetic, able to reach freeway speeds without drama; putting it in Sport mode sharpens its responses. The new turbocharged unit makes the 2019 CX-5 even more attractive. If the general ride quality wasn’t quite as comfortable as a Honda CR-V before, this year’s revisions should resolve that issue to most people’s satisfaction.
